Camp Cross Training - Summer Day Camp Program

Wondering what you are going to do with your Kindergarten-6th grader
(grade completed) this summer while you work?
Please consider our Camp CrossTraining ministry. We are open from
6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
These hours should accommodate those varied work schedules. Kids will be given
breakfast and snacks, do crafts,
play organized games, have free time, go on field trips such as weekly
swimming, the Children's Museum, skating,
bowling, rock climbing, horseback riding, IMAX, the park, the
Zoo, movies, etc. We also have special guests
come into our facility on a regular basis. We try to give the kids the best of
both worlds of home and camp! Our
director this year is Megan
E. who
grew up at our church. All of our counselors are college students, mostly
majoring in
education, ministry or
else just having a heart for kids! They have
so much energy and love for the kids! There is a
one-time activity fee, as
well as a weekly charge. We try to keep our tuition reasonable so we can be a
ministry to our community.

Dear Staff Applicant:
Hello! We are pleased that Camp Cross Training has caught your eye in your search for summer employment. If you are looking for a summer camp that is filled with energy, fun and faith you have the right staff packet in hand. Camp Cross Training staff members are creative, enthusiastic, inclusive, diverse, fun-lovin', faith filled, community oriented, great with kids, out-going, hard working, friendly and love the outdoors! Do you see yourself as a match?
We invite you to download, print and read the application handbook thoroughly. You will find information on being a staff member; what you will get out of a summer; what is expected of you; and even what will challenge you. If you decide, after reading the handbook, that Camp Cross Training is the experience for you, please complete, and submit the application . Also, download and print two reference forms and have them completed by teachers, employers, or minister (not co-workers, family members, family friends or friends). Please choose your references carefully. We are interested in hearing about you from people who know you well. Please read the reference form before you choose as this can be a guide for you to pick the best references.
We will be reviewing applications and references daily. We will contact you regarding the status of your application within a week of receiving it. We believe there is no more rewarding way to spend your summer than making a difference in the lives of children. You will be a part of a team of friends who support each other all summer long. In addition, you will have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
