Not an Average Sports League
With 25+ years of experience, this isn’t your average basketball league. Hundreds of boys and girls play basketball or cheer in our league every year—making Ben Davis Christian Church a destination for Upward Sports in Indianapolis and its surrounding communities.
Rebuilding Our Program
There will not be a full Basketball/Cheer season at BDCC this year. We are working with our team to consider other ways to reach our community through sports. We are considering camps, clinics and partnerships as a few options.

Recreational
Our league is recreational and developmental. While we do keep score, we don’t consider ourselves a competitive league.
Boys and Girls
While our preschool basketball league is coed, we offer seperate leagues for boys and girls. We also offer cheer for girls

Time Commitment
Our season is eight weeks long plus four additional weeks of practice. Please plan for one-hour of practice each week and for an hour-long game on Saturday.
Awards Ceremony
At the end of the season, we get together and party. On Upward Sunday, every player gets an award, along with encouragement from a guest speaker. We think of Upward Sunday as the highlight of the season.
Affordable for Everyone
We’ve made our league affordable for everyone. We also offer camps for basketball players and cheerleaders.
