MEN, WOMEN and YOUTH in the congregation of BDCC believe and experience the power of prayer. We know prayer is the power source and foundation for every endeavor of the "CHURCH" worldwide. Prayer is essential in our personal walk with Christ. We invite you to become personally involved in the Prayer Ministry of BDCC. You may select one or all of the following areas of Prayer for the coming year.
Prayer Life Group—This is a nucleus of people who meet at designated times throughout the year. One main objective of this Life Group is to pray throughout the week for the requests that are submitted each Sunday. These requests are kept in confidence.
Prayer Walk—We meet at the church at a designated date and time. We determine the streets to walk and pray within our neighborhood.
Upward Basketball Prayer Team—100 people pray for 100 days beginning in November. Information and specific needs are given in written form.
Prayer Phone Tree—This is a system that allows us to effectively reach all Prayer Partners. The phone tree is active Monday—Friday, 8:30 am—4:30 pm. When an immediate prayer request needs to be shared, call the church office at 241-3944. The secretaries will record the request on the phone tree and the prayer request will be immediately sent in a voice message to all members who have signed up to be a prayer partner on the phone tree. 911 Emergency Prayer Partner—When an emergency arises and immediate prayer is needed, we will be there to pray for you. Regardless of the hour, the request will be immediately prayed for and called to the 911 Prayer Partners who signed up for this area of Prayer Ministry. For emergency prayer, call 435-0686.
