Micah 6:8 (NIV)
8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

If you take a good look at other religions, you will not find a loving and gracious God who desires relationship with His creation. Only our God, the one true God, desires our hearts in relationship with him just as we are, asking only that we ‘act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with’ Him, so much so that He sent Jesus to die for our sins so we could have that relationship with Him. God did the work so we could be saved.

God created us, and saved us through Jesus, so we could talk to him throughout our lives. A lifestyle of prayer begins with knowing that God wants you to walk with Him. To walk with someone opens the door for discussion and dialog. Start the journey, talk to God along the way. Thank Him, ask Him what you can do for Him, ask Him to show you the way through a difficult or trying situation. Listen as He speaks to your heart and gives you the wisdom you need.
